What is a Parametric Bench?
Sketches
Using Inventor
To the right is a screenshot of my bench in Inventor. I made multiple pieces representing the plywood ranging from lengths of 10-26 inches. All pieces of wood have a width of 17 inches. There is a gap of 7 inches between both holes on every board. Running through the holes of the boards are two 92" PVC pipes. Between every board is a spacer with the width of 0.75".

Final Product
Summary
During this unit, I learned more about the process of using the "Assembly" feature of Inventor. Before this unit, I have never used the Assembly portion of this app. One thing I would like to work on is finding my mistake with my spacers. My finished product has a "slinky-like" feeling, where it did not stay put. There was an issue with my spacers, and I believe that they were simply not thick enough. At the end of the day. my finished product turned out to be something that I am glad with, it looks almost like I imagined it, and it was a fun project to work on.
